Established in 1984, our original focus was on lawn maintenance and landscape planting. As we grew, Terry Newman, founder and owner, began to devote full time energy to expanding Superior Scape's services, increasing size and scope in order to offer a truly full service landscape company that does it all. From design concept , installation and management to giving clients exactly what they want... Superior Scape is unparalleled as one of Michigan's leading landscapers.

The company moved to it's present location on Schoenherr Road in Shelby Township in 1993. Our 5 acre facility includes offices, display gardens and water features, maintenance buildings, brick paver and wall stone stock, boulder and flat rocks and our on-site highly stocked nursery.

Our company has grown to nearly 50 employees, including office staff, on-site foremen, laborers, designers, sales staff and full time equipment mechanic. Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years. Experience and teamwork play a major role in doing what we do best... creating sensational landscapes.

We are fully licensed builders and offer a complete and truly diverse landscape construction service. Not many can compare to all that we offer our clients.We are proud to be established responsible members and board members of our community and affilliate landscape organizations. We are involved in many projects with Shelby Township Lion Club and other local organizations in the area.
